How it works
Each die is rolled independently using your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so every face has exactly the same chance. Rolling 2d6 means two six-sided dice added together; the modifier is added to the total, as in tabletop games.
Common rolls
- 1d6: a standard die, for board games.
- 2d6: board games like Monopoly and Catan; totals from 2 to 12, with 7 most likely.
- 1d20: tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons.
- 1d100: percentile rolls, or picking a random number from 1 to 100.
Is this dice roller really random?
Yes. It uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so results are unbiased.
How many dice can I roll at once?
Up to 20 dice per roll, each with up to 1,000 sides.
